Recreational running is just as possible as preparing for well-known marathon courses or exploring virtual 3d worlds. Resolutions of up to 2 x 4K are currently already possible.

Setup and function xrcreen

What are the components?

xrscreen consists of several components that are intelligently linked to each other almost invisibly. The content is played out via the xrscreen media server. The training device only needs to have the Bluetooth-FTMS- protocol. 

xrscreen Media-Server

Powerful media-server for the deployment of the selected tracks, including the management software (CMS) for the implementation of new tracks. Software and camera for projection measuring and calibration.

Cardio-Training Equipment

treadmill, bicycle-trainer, rowing machine equipped with Bluetooth-FTMS-protocol.

4.0 m x 2.5 m Screen

Modular support and superstructure structure, covered with flexible and tear-resistant fabric for excellent projection surface quality.

Right projector

2 projectors (left/right) each with 4k resolution, min. 3,500 ANSI lumens, connected to the media server via HDMI cable.  Optional 2 cylindrical housings (1250 mm x 400 mm) to accommodate the projectors.

SET-UP & FUNCTION

How does xrscreen work? 

Assembly, installation, measurement, and setup take place in advance at the designated location. Anyone who wants to use the training device only selects the track via QR code and can fully concentrate on the training. 

STEP 1: CONNECT THE TRAINING-DEVICE

The training device must have the Bluetooth-FTMS-protocol. This is the requirement for real-time data exchange between the xrscreen media server and the fitness device. 

STEP 2: CONNECT THE SMARTPHONE OR TABLET

The xrscreen media server is configured as a web-server and is accessible in a local network via WLAN using smartphone or tablet. The network is selected via QR code attached on site or via the settings on the smartphone. 

STEP 3: ROUTE SELECTION BY USER

The track is selected by scanning a QR code with the user’s smartphone or the permanently attached tablet device. To do this, the smartphone or tablet must be connected to the local network. The available routes are displayed on the user’s device. By selecting the desired route, it is activated on the fitness-device. The fitness experience can now be started by the user.

Spectacular routes, which can be run, cycled or rowed at one’s own pace, provide an unforgettable training session. Athletes are offered an immersive and motivating experience in the cardio area.
